This year again, ESA is launching the SME Initiative. It is a good way to begin collaboration with ESA on the basis of the current capabilities of SMEs since it only requires a good idea or technology (i.e. system, software ...) dealing with or related to the satcom sector. The funding available is from 50% to 100% limited to EUR 300 000 per project. The participation is easy: Step 1 - 2 page description's submission via the ESA website, Step 2 - full proposal's submission.
The eMobility Technology Platform, officially launched 18 March 2005, is an EU-wide public-private partnership focusing on European research and development (R&D) efforts and exploiting the future potential of mobile and wireless communication systems. Since about 80% of the European citizens use mobile handsets, the objective of the platform is to stimulate the development of services that bring real added-value to both individual citizens and to businesses.
Gate2Growth is a European Commission programme aiming at stimulating the setting up of new high growth companies encouraging the creation of a community of entrepreneurs, investors and service providers. Its prime objective is to support innovative entrepreneurs and innovation professionals in Europe offering them a pan-European Business Platform hosting several tools, infrastructures and support services used by networks of investors, experts and service providers.
