On 23rd June 2005, the European Commission launched a consultation on the simplification of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development, as far as administrative procedures, access to the programme and information about it are concerned. The European Commission wants those involved and interested in the future Framework Programme to submit their views and suggestions about FP7 simplification.
The European Commission has published a new call for proposals in the thematic area of "Life Sciences" within the 6th European Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6). With a budget of EUR 381 million, this call gives those European and Luxembourg companies and laboratories active in biomedical research, a new opportunity to submit a project and/or to take part in a European research consortium.
