The National Research Fund (FNR) is pleased to invite you to the launch of its New CORE Research Programme, Wednesday 20th February 2008, 4 pm at the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg. The CORE programme is designed to feature regular annual calls based on the FNR's (Foresight) priority research domains. Projects are planned to cover a period of 2-3 years. The budget available for projects selected under the programme and funded by the 2008 call will be approximately EUR 20,000,000.

The aim of the new programme ATTRACT of the National Research Fund (FNR) is to build on the excellence, dynamism and creativity of research in Luxembourg by attracting young researchers with a high level of ability in science or technology and proven experience in a professional research context. Projects selected under the ATTRACT programme have a lifespan of 5 years and the financial contribution by FNR will be up to EUR 1,000,000. .../...
