The Young Scientists Association of Luxembourg which gives young people between 12 and 21 years the opportunity to exhibit and present scientific and technical projects that fascinate them, has participated in the 4th INESPO Sustainability Olympiad took place from 9-15 June 2012 in Utrecht, Netherlands. More than 250 students (aged 13-18) from 40 countries came to the contest to present their solutions to environmental problems.
The second price for best scientific thinking has been awarded to the two young Luxemburgish scientists Amel Muharemovic and Charel Wohl. The jury chose their "Defense of Garlic" amongst more than one hundred other projects.
Amel and Charles were also recently awarded at the Jonk Fuerscher Contest powered by the FNR.
