The Marie Curie Actions invite their current and former fellows to participate in this year’s Marie Curie Prize Contest. The contest is open to all Marie Curie Fellows and alumni from FP6 and FP7, who must be nominated by a peer. The deadline for submitting nominations is 31 August 2012.
The University of Cyprus organises a conference entitled "Marie Curie Actions in Horizon 2020 – Contributing to the Europe 2020 objectives" that will be held on 5-6 November 2012 in Nicosia, Cyprus, under the Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU. The Awards Ceremony of the Marie Curie Prize will be held at this conference.
Awards will be handed out for three categories:
The application process will be based on nomination by a peer (colleague, professor, employer, host institution) who has the capacity to judge the fellow. For the Promising Research Talent category, nominated fellows must have obtained their research results as an early stage researcher in an FP6 or FP7 Marie Curie project. For the other two categories, individuals – current or former Marie Curie Fellows from FP6 and FP7 – are eligible.
Nominations, which should be submitted by 31 August at the latest, should be done by filling in the specific Nomination Form.
