Environment and Agro-biotechnologies (EVA)

Equipment

  • Technological platforms for geomatics, analytical chemistry, genoproteomics, biogas, supercalculator, microscopy, remote sensing and geographical information systems;
  • Ecotechnology laboratory;
  • Hydrometeorology observatory;
  • Culture collections of in vitro plant cultures and microorganisms, greenhouse.

Products and services

The platforms of the EVA department offer their competences for diverse analyses:

  • Proteomics platform (analysis of samples, electrophoreses, analysis by Maldi-Tof, separation of proteins, identification of proteins, etc.);
  • Chemistry platform (analysis of environmental, plant, food samples);
  • Geomatics platform (support for remote sensing, GIS and statistics, analysis of geographical observation, implementation of a geographic database, environmental modelling, etc.);
  • Analysis of chemical pollution in surface and ground water bodies;
  • Environmental modelling (hydrology, hydraulics, air quality, etc.);
  • Biogas (analysis of substrates, biogas composition and digestates, on-site sampling, etc.);
  • Environmental quality assessment with the help of bioindicators, toxicological in vitro and in vivo tests.

The department also offers in-service training courses.
