Description of activities
ProSciens is a scientific company devoted to computer-aided biopharmaceutical molecular design. The internal portfolio of ProSciens includes, but it is not limited to, novel drugs under development for the treatment of cancer, diabetes, tuberculosis and malaria. In addition to developing its own therapeutic approaches, ProSciens also offers contract research services, consulting and training in several fields involving molecular sciences.
Main application domains
In combination with the experiment, theoretical calculations help us to gain further insights and to optimise the productivity of our knowledge-driven discovery projects. The main application domains include drug design and development, protein engineering and structural biology.
Products and services
Through partnership with ProSciens our clients gain access to a competent and experienced team of scientists as well as to state-of-the-art computational methods and resources, including: structure-based de novo drug design, ligand-based drug design, molecular docking, molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry, retrosynthetic analysis.

In collaboration with Drs. Anna Hirsch (U. Groningen, NL) and Jay Thelen (U. Missouri, USA), PROSCIENS has developed a new family of potential anti-cancer compounds with promising in vitro activity.
