e-Xstream engineering develops DIGIMAT software platform and proposes the related consulting services for the micromechanical modeling of composite materials and structures (plastics, rubber, hard metals, reinforced with glass fiber, carbon fiber, …) used across the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and industrial equipments industries.

e-Xstream engineering offers material suppliers and end users a state-of-the-art technology, DIGIMAT, to help them design innovative and high performance composite materials and structures time and cost efficiently.

DIGIMAT; The nonlinear multi-scale material and structure modeling platform, is a set of complementary and interoperable tools:

  • Digimat-MF: Mean-Field homogenization software used to predict the nonlinear constitutive behavior of multi-phase composite materials
  • Digimat-FE: homogenization software based on the nonlinear Finite Element modeling of realistic Representative Volume Element of complex material microstructure
  • Digimat-MX: the Material eXpert system, used for the preparation, storage and secure exchange of DIGIMAT material models between material suppliers and end-users
  • Digimat to CAE: DIGIMAT interfaces with major injection molding and structural FEA software to enable multi-scale analysis of composite materials and structures
  • Map: 3D mapping software used to transfer fiber orientation, residual stresses and temperature from the injection molding mesh to the optimal structural FEA mesh
  • Micross: multi-scale tool for the modeling of sandwich structures
