Junior Chamber International Luxembourg The mission of the Junior Chamber International Luxembourg (JCEL) is to provide young people with development opportunities. Members, aged between 18 and 40, can engage in various projects according to their interests. JCEL notably organises yearly the Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg Award (CYEL). JCEL wishes to provide young people with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, social responsibility, business spirit and solidarity. Members devise and carry out projects in all areas: social, economic, cultural and community-based and are trained in project management methodology. JCEL is affiliated with the Junior Chamber International (JCI), global federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. It brings together 200,000 members in 100 countries and approximately 5,000 local Junior Chambers. JCI is a non-governmental international organisation that actively participates in the United Nations (UN). In this context, JCI is in contact with the Secretary General's Office of the UN and has a consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
