Jonk Entrepreneuren Promoting entrepreneurship spirit in education Jonk Entrepreneuren aims to inspire and prepare young people to innovate, create, take initiatives and be responsible. The association, which brings together representatives of schools and the business world, was created in 2005 in order to sustainably enhance the entrepreneurship spirit within the Luxembourg school system. Jonk Entrepreneuren has 2 objectives: explain to and teach young people throughout their school career that running one’s own business is a concrete alternative to paid employment give a taste for entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity and taking initiatives To achieve this, the association teaches young people about economic and entrepreneurial world through projects organised at each level of education in Luxembourg (basic, secondary and higher). It brings the worlds of education and world closer. Its vision is simple: learning to be an entrepreneur. Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg is the Luxembourg branch of the "Junior Achievement Worldwide" (JA) network, which is the world’s largest non-profit organisation offering entrepreneurship teaching programmes. It currently has branches in 122 countries including 40 in Europe. Every year, JA involves over 10 million students worldwide and over 3 million students in Europe.
