Fit 4 Circularity The Fit 4 Circularity programme has been designed to facilitate and accelerate your company’s transition to the circular economy. It helps you identify and assess your growth potential and integrate the circular economy into your general innovation activities. Ensure the sustainability of your company Innovative ideas are often key to long-term profitability. A business manager who is constantly in demand, however, does not always have the time to devote enough effort to this issue. Fit 4 Circularity offers you a decision-making tool that will guide you through the adoption of the new economic and systematic approach of circular economy. The aim is to enable you to ensure the sustainability and intelligent growth of your company. The programme helps you to explore the possibilities of extending the life cycle of your products and highlights potential gains linked to circular supply chains. It also studies the benefits of collaborative platforms and analyses new business models based on selling – not products themselves – but the services provided by the products. Finally, Fit 4 Circularity underlines the importance of recycling and using recyclable materials for a more responsible production. Offer: support and advice Fit 4 Circularity includes 2 phases. Diagnostic phase: 6 weeks to 6 months The aim of the diagnostic phase is to identify the potential for creating value in adopting a circular economy approach in your company. The costs of the diagnosis can be co-financed up to of 50% with a maximum of €10,000. During this phase, a consultant evaluates the potential of your company in the context of the circular economy and seeks to answer two questions: How can your products and services be sustainably improved? What economic value creation would a paradigm shift bring? Implementation phase: 12-36 months This phase includes the implementation of research, development and innovation projects defined during the diagnostic phase and allows companies to develop circular products, services and business models. The diagnostic phase does not necessarily have to be followed by an implementation phase. The eligibility of requests for R&D and innovation project funding as well as co-funding thresholds are determined by the Ministry of the Economy. Target: Luxembourg SMEs This programme is open to all Luxembourg SMEs regardless of their sector of activity. To be eligible, you must fulfil the following condition: Not being classified as a company "in difficulties" Since the co-funding granted by the Ministry of the Economy is provided as a reimbursement, you will be asked to partially pre-fund the diagnostic phase. Circular economy: the economic model of tomorrow The circular economy is an economic model that aims to stimulate innovation and help companies separate economic growth from depleting natural resources. When adopting such a model, companies are encouraged to systematically re-evaluate and rethink their products and services. This will help them generate intelligent, sustainable economic growth while also strengthening their competitiveness. Consulting companies that are interested in working in partnership with Luxinnovation to implement the Fit 4 Circularity programme must fulfil certain criteria.
