Several competitions are organised in Luxembourg aiming to encourage innovative projects within companies and to support their development.

Two competitions are organised to promote innovation in companies in the Grand Duchy:

• the Innovation Award, which recognises innovative projects from industrial creativity and
• the Innovation in Skilled Crafts Award, which encourages innovation within craft businesses

The Environment Award aims to promote the efforts of companies concerning protecting and improving the environment.

Furthermore, the interregional competition 1,2,3 Go is open to participants with innovative ideas for starting a business and provides them with individual support in developing their business plan.
The Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg competition (CYEL) rewards young entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40, for their creativity and dynamic approach.
