Directory of scientific publications in Luxembourg

Traditionally, public research organisations share their discoveries through scientific publications. The fast dissemination of research results allows science to evolve in a very efficient way.

There are several different kinds of scientific publications, including:

  • articles published in scientific journals
  • monographs on specific research themes
  • contributions to scientific conferences

All researchers are free to use the research results published by other researchers, provided they cite their sources. This way of functioning is often called "Open Science". The weighted citation index of published results is a reliable indicator of the quality and productivity of research activities.

A directory of scientific publications, involving at least one public research actor in Luxembourg, can be consulted on this portal. This directory provides bibliographical references of these works.

Currently, a list of bibliographical references of scientific publications stemming from Luxembourg public research in 2009 is available, with a more exhaustive list being produced by the National Research Fund. This list, which will be updated regularly and automatically, will be available on this portal shortly and will thus replace the one that is currently available.
