An Italian company developing diagnostic tools for foodstuff and supplying diagnostic services for SMEs of the agro-food sector, is looking for new devices/methods for quick and reliable detection of pathogens in foodstuff.
The company is interested in licence or commercial agreements.

Description

An Italian company has consolidated expertise in diagnostic services for SMEs of the agro-food sector, as well as in the development of diagnostic tools, like:
- oligonucleotide microarrays with selected sub-set of genes
- biosensors
- assays for Real-Time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Surface Plasmon Resonance.

It is now looking for innovative kits/techniques to detect pathogens or toxins in foodstuff.

The devices must be faster and more accurate than the traditionals assays.
The company is also interested in buying lincences for the use of registered and protected laboratory methods

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Crucial is the reliability of the assay and the protocol certification (AFNOR or similar). In other words the assay must be acknowledged at European or at least Italian level.
Certified assays allowing tests on field would be preferred.
