The action for IIF aims at encouraging top class researchers from third countries to work on research projects in Europe. The action for IOF aims at offering European researchers the opportunity to be trained and to acquire new knowledge in a third country research organisation, and subsequently return to an organisation in an EU member state or an associated country.

The call for IEF is amounted EUR 95 million and the calls for IIF and IOF are amounted to EUR 28 million each. The 3 calls are open until the 17th of August 2010.
